[This is truly the worst plan ever, but at least it got Gyu-hyuk to stop draining Do-yoon's blood? That's....a win, yeah? Admittedly, he's still caught within his arms, but...he stopped biting him! That's all that matters! Hyesung's heart is still hammering in his ears, but at least...at least he doesn't have to watch Do-yoon slowly fade away. He can't lose someone else. Have them die, and be trapped with a killer....!]

[His voice cracks, sharply, despite the anger. Not again, he can't do that again! To escape that nightmare, only to end up in another one...it's not fair....

Hyesung grabs Gyu-hyuk's arms once more, but only to thread another belt around them, voice now steady but hands trembling. He won't admit it, but Gyu-hyuk's words - his rage - are getting to him.]

You've gone crazy, bro. Do you want to kill Do-yoon? Would that make you feel good?

[ He fights against the belts, the leather digging into his skin angrily. He could really hurt himself like this, he realizes, like those wounds that had been left on Seil when they'd found him with the leather belt around his neck. But he also finds he doesn't care. It would be worth a thousand marks to get out of Hyesung's hold and keep Do-yoon only for himself.

Especially since Do-yoon seems to want that, too. Yes, that must be it, because Do-yoon presses himself closer and he'd let him bite him. Hyesung was the one who had it wrong, like always, coming between him and what he wanted.

It's Hyesung's question that makes him stop. Would it make him feel good? He doesn't know. It had, before. Certainly with Seil, if not before. And in the nightmare, when he'd killed that monstrous version of himself, his fingers around it's neck, taking it's life and watching it die. Watching himself die. It had felt so good, yes, to do it again would be right...whether it was Hyesung, or Do-yoon ---

But that thought fights back hard against the instinct to kill and to drain them until they have nothing left. He could never hurt Do-yoon. It wouldn't feel good to kill Do-yoon, he'd rather kill himself. He screams in frustration, caught between these two terrible feelings, each so strong, tearing him apart, it hurts so bad... ]

N-no, I don't want to hurt Do-yoon, I---

[ he relaxes, submitting to Hyesung at least for now. ]

I don't want to hurt him. Whatever you have to do.

Hyesung!

[ Do-yoon wants to tell him to stop goading him, to stop making this worse when things are already so bad. But Hyesung's words seem to have gotten through to Gyu-hyuk, and that's a huge relief. Even knowing Gyu-hyuk would never intentionally hurt him, it's good to hear him sounding more like himself, instead of the angry, bitter voice he'd used before.

Gyu-hyuk is obviously dealing with a lot. Everyone has feelings they hide from others, his are just hard to spot. Maybe sometimes you have to be harsh and loud like Hyesung to see everything about a person. Even still... Do-yoon can't help but feel sorry for him. He never asked to be affected by whatever changed him like this. ]

It's okay. It's okay, Gyu-hyuk. I know.

[ Do-yoon hugs him again, this time pulling back afterwards to try and get out of his hold. It's not that he doesn't want to be near him, but for their safety... he'd have to be. As good as that bite felt, it could get dangerous. He doesn't want to end up like Hyesung. ]

We'll take care of everything. You won't hurt anybody, we'll make sure.

[Hyesung is still looking rather bristly, but the fact that Gyu-hyuk's rage seems to have abated definitely calms him down (to a point, anyway). He's tempted to reply with something snappy and sarcastic, but to his credit, he manages to hold his tongue. He may be reckless, but at least he's smart enough to realise when the battle is over.

It's cautious, but he approaches as Do-yoon tries to get out of Gyu-hyuk's hold, watching to see if he needs any support.]

Now what?

[Hyesung knows what he thinks should happen; bind Gyu-hyuk's legs in case he changes his mind about being peaceful. But Do-yoon appears to be in control of things, so...he'll wait for him to make a decision. He's definitely not relaxing, though - Gyu-hyuk is calm now, but who knows how he'll be once Do-yoon is free?]

[ It's certainly harder without Do-yoon being close, without the chroma from their touch. but he's patient as Do-yoon works his way out of his bound arms (Hyesung certainly made this difficult on both of them), and he's left looking at both of them, arms bound and waiting for them to pass their verdict on him.

If only someone had made an informational PSA on what to do next...like, you know, on the network. ]

[ Do-yoon works his way out of Gyu-hyuk's hold, taking a step back though certainly remaining close enough that he's still basically by Gyu-hyuk's side. This is his boyfriend, after all. Having him tied up in the same belts that had killed Seil doesn't sit right by him, but right now it's all they have. ]

We're not going to just leave you here.

[ He was checking his watch earlier for exactly this reason, you know. Solutions. The Moon Knights recommended those magnetic restraints, but anything standard would work, too. ]

We can... We can get something better than this. Something that won't leave a mark.

[ The last thing he wants is belt-marks. Hyesung is probably going to be suspicious about their insistence at this point, but it is what it is. Do-yoon turns towards Hyesung, pleading for him to continue to be understanding. Because, yeah, he can tell he's holding his tongue through a lot right now. ]

You said so earlier, bro. Handcuffs, rope... They sell that stuff everywhere here. We can hold him down without hurting him. [ Do-yoon looks back at Gyu-hyuk, placing a hand on his tied wrists. ] This isn't his fault.

[Yeah, the mark thing? That was weird to start with, but now it's just straight-up bizarre, and it shoots a hot wave of anger through Hyesung's body. What is up with these two and their issues with belts? What the hell happened? There's something he's not being told, here, and it makes him all the more angry. What, is it because he's younger than them? Are they making fun of him?

His lips quickly curl into a snarl, but there's still a faint undertone of unease in his voice. Gyu-hyuk's a vampire, Do-yoon is keeping things from him...this sucks! It sucks!]

Something wrong with tying them over his clothes?

[Exhaling sharply, Hyesung shoves his hands into his pockets.]

[ It's strange, listening to them decide what to do with him. And yet, in another way it isn't at all. He'd imagined several times what it would look like, if Do-yoon had put all the pieces together. How Inha would want to rip him apart with her hands, Juyoung holding her back and trying to keep the peace, while formulating her own plan on how they'd hand him over to the authorities.

So it's strange, but it's something that's been coming for a long time. He feels weirdly at peace with it, sort of disassociating from the conversation as they bicker with what to do looking at the floor instead of them, until Hyesung's last comment when he looks up at both of them and shakes his head. ]

I don't care if they leave a mark.

[ He'd rather they did, really. He'd rather be wounded. He'd rather wear the scars to match what he'd done to the others. He knows what they really should do, of course, they should drive a wooden stake through his heart.

The only real problem is he'd just come back in two weeks. ]

[ If there's one thing Do-yoon has learned from all of these life-or-death situations, it's that Gyu-hyuk is in far too much of a rush to die. He can't understand it, where all this guilt comes from, but maybe it connects to why he'd had no trouble at all killing his doppelganger in the dream. Or why he'd given up so quickly when the nightmares had left him so injured. ]

Gyu-hyuk...

[ Gyu-hyuk is a risk. To himself, more than others. There's no need to treat him like he's some killer just because of some lapse of judgement and misguided rage. Of course, Do-yoon gets it too -- he'd nearly killed Hyesung, so there's no way he'd simply forget it. ]

There's... it says here they're working on a cure. But it could take days. We should buy something to make it easier. [ Do-yoon turns back to Hyesung. ] It's the candy growing around the city. If it had happened to you, would you want to be tied up like this?

[It's clear that Do-yoon's last remark hasn't settled well with Hyesung - his eyes flash with what he would describe as anger, but is, in reality, fear.]

I've never had to think about how to deal with a goddamn vampire, Do-yoon!

[Whirling around so that he's facing away from from his roommates, Hyesung places a hand over the wounds - or, at this point, marks - on his neck, muttering sharply to himself. His voice is low, but it's still possible to catch the odd curse. It would be so much easier to just...run out of the apartment, out into the city...but if the place is filled with candy that turns people into vampires...shit, he's probably safer here. At least this one is restrained. Better the devil you know....

That line of thought actually brings him to what he considers a decent question; without turning back to face Do-yoon:]

It could be dangerous out there. If there are others like him.

[There's a brief pause, before Hyesung finally shifts back around. He's still looking down at the floor, but the anger has drained away from his face.]

I don't wanna die, bro.

[ one would think that someone who is already so broken can’t break anew, but Hyesung’s comment does it for him, and he’s close to crying at this point but he holds it back. ]

[ he sinks down on his knees in front of them both, looking down at his bound hands ]

[ Between the two of them, Do-yoon is quickly realizing that he doesn't have enough hands to hold all these traumas...

No, he can do this. He cares about both of them. All he has to do is take charge. Everything will be fine. Even if nothing could have prepared him for literal vampires. ]

No one is going to die.

[ He answers with conviction. Everything will be fine. They have what they need. It's going to be okay. He has a plan, and it's better than the earlier one. He just has to address this one thing at a time. ]

Hyesung... we have enough food in the fridge to last a few days. We can stay in.

[ Of course, there's still the matter of his boyfriend. His very hot, very sad, very dangerous boyfriend. But Do-yoon isn't afraid of him. He kneels down to get closer and comfort him, stroking a hand over his back and trying to tilt his chin up. ]

Gyu-hyuk... We might have some better stuff in our bedroom. We can tie you to the bed, [ Okay, he's trying to be serious, but the mental image still makes him blush, ] That way you won't hurt anyone. But I can still help you if you get hungry.

[ And don't think he's forgotten Hyesung in all this. Do-yoon turns around, glancing at Hyesung. ]

Everyone's safe. How does that sound?

[It's clear that Hyesung still isn't feeling 100% comfortable with this plan, but...well. If he has to be honest, it's miles better than their last plan, and at least Gyu-hyuk seems to have calmed down. Right. Okay. Tying him to the bed (the...bed? hm) is a good idea.]

...sounds better than our last dumbass plan.

[Which didn't, if he remembers correctly, involve getting Do-yoon bitten, but! It seems to have worked out in the end....for now. Exhaling sharply again, Hyesung crosses his arms.]

You want some help? Tying him to the bed.

Gyu-hyuk allows Do-yoon to tilt his chin up, looking at him as he speaks. His heart races a little bit when Do-yoon offers himself, but he figures Hyesung will find a way to ruin that, too. ]

[ Do-yoon nods. With the two of them, they can get it done quicker, and realistically they aren't going to leave him tied up for however many days it takes. Do-yoon mostly wants to give Hyesung some peace of mind. If Do-yoon unties Gyu-hyuk after a few days, well, who's going to stop him?

He certainly intends to sleep by Gyu-hyuk's side, tied up or not. And vampires need blood. He's good with that too. Maybe if he just doesn't bring it up, Hyesung won't notice... ]

[ Do-yoon nods at Hyesung's words, though he's still looking at Gyu-hyuk in what he hopes is a comforting gesture. Gyu-hyuk isn't to blame here, Do-yoon knows that. ]

I'm sorry I lied to you. [ Spoken softly, hopefully only for Gyu-hyuk to hear. ] I'll make it up to you.

[Hyesung will absolutely find a way to ruin everything if given the chance, but for now, he's happy to behave. Gyu-hyuk isn't going crazy, Do-yoon seems to have everything under control...it's fine. Everything is totally fine.

(It's not fine. But you know. Close enough.)]

[To his credit, though, he isn't pushing past Do-yoon to hurry the process along, so anything the latter says to Gyu-hyuk goes unheard. After a few moments of (sullen) silence...]

[ Gyu-hyuk nuzzles up against Do-yoon, smelling how wonderful he smells and wanting more of it. He is comforting. He's always comforting. Now is no exception.

He stands, a little difficult with his hands bound but he's able to do it and moves to sit on the bed. They need to tie him up. It's the right thing to do. But he spares Hyesung little more than a glance at his "attempt" to be nice. ]

[ Do-yoon will take what he can get, as far as Hyesung goes. This much is a victory -- and he's managed to keep either of them from dying so far, so that's a tiny win in his book.

He stays by Gyu-hyuk's side to help him if he needs it, holding him steady as he stands. The moonlacing should help, he hopes. If he's learned anything in Prismatica, it's that the solution always seems to come down to moonlacing. Once they're in his room though, he has to take a step back, mostly to find that 'better stuff' he mentioned. He wasn't (totally) lying when he told Hyesung that they hadn't done much hardcore stuff, but considering where they live, you can't throw a rock without finding at least some light BDSM gear. ]

[ Do-yoon ducks over to the closet -- this had been his room first, so he'd been the one to find it fully equipped with what was labeled as "the essentials." He returns with a box of dubious origin, but there's everything from a halter to a gag in here. Bright red leather. Very classy. ]

I, uh, didn't mention it when we moved in, but... I think this is a care package? It was here when we moved in. With a bow on it. So we should be good.

[ Do-yoon fishes out several padded, leather restraints from the rest of it. At least they don't look as much like belts when they're bright red. He expects colorful commentary from Hyesung, that's for sure. ]

Anyway, this should be good. And we can use the gag if... [ Ah, he was doing really well, but talking about gagging Gyu-hyuk makes him blush as bright red as everything else. ] You know.

[At least Do-yoon knows Hyesung well; the latter is content to loiter in the doorway as Do-yoon shuffles through his closet, throwing Gyu-hyuk the odd suspicious (read; nervous) glance, but that all changes once that 'care package' comes out.]

Oi, what's this? I thought you said you didn't have any of this stuff!

[Show show show! Scampering over, Hyesung immediately shoves his hands into the box, shuffling them around, before pulling out a rather nice set of bright red wrist restraints. Oooh, fancy leather...nice and soft....and what a good colour! In typical Hyesung fashion, his mood has dramatically changed; nudging Do-yoon with an elbow and grinning widely, he runs his fingers down the neatly-sown threads of the leather and gives it an experimental tug.]

Nice, bro! I can't believe you lied to me! Is there a box in the other bedroom? Can I have it?

[ as the stress an anxiety starts to wear off of all of them though, as Hyesung starts making jokes and Do-yoon settles in to what they're doing, he has little left in the way of distractions. and the hunger starts to be more obvious.

[ Do-yoon rolls his eyes as Hyesung takes to the gear and starts to snoop. Is this what Hyesung is into? Do-yoon can't exactly pretend not to make a note of that. I mean, they know where they are. You have to know these things... ]

[ Ah, but Gyu-hyuk's words make Do-yoon pause. A little more... Do-yoon can't really bring himself to resist Gyu-hyuk on a good day, but that pleading look, after all they've done to him, makes it especially hard. Doesn't he deserve at least this?

Well, maybe once they have him tied down. Just because he's able to keep it cool for now doesn't mean that hunger won't make him change his mind. Even if it's not Gyuhyuk's fault... ]

Let's tie you down first, Gyu-hyuk. Then you can have another bite.

[ Even if Hyesung probably disagrees. But Do-yoon focuses and grabs another of the red restraints, nodding to Hyesung so that they can each grab a hand. ]

[The thought of getting yet another box of fun things puts a bit of a spring in Hyesung's step, but he's immediately brought back to earth when Do-yoon appears to acquiesce to Gyu-hyuk's request. Oh, you've gotta be kidding! He wouldn't have to be so suspicious if Do-yoon hadn't already been stupid enough to let the guy chomp on him, so when Hyesung starts to help tie Gyu-hyuk's hands to the bed, there's a snarl on his face.]

You better be joking, dude.

[Seriously, like...if Do-yoon does let Gyu-hyuk feed ('feed'? Ew, disgusting...) off him, what the hell is he supposed to do? Watch? Supervise? Assist? Not for the first time today, Hyesung mutters furiously to himself about how fucked up this situation is.]

Can't we just feed you steak, or something?

[That question is directed at Gyu-hyuk, and at least this time, Hyesung has the decency to look at him.]

[ Gyu-hyuk is scared when they take his hands, but he's trying not to be. Still, it shows -- the fear of being restrained, the fear of what this hunger might do it him if it really takes over, the fear of knowing he might not get more blood or chroma if he's left like this.

He doesn't trust Hyesung, not by a long shot, but he does trust Do-yoon and he tries to focus on that even as they undo the binds they'd put on him before to bind his wrists again and tie him to the bed.

So he tries to focus on Do-yoon, his hand shaking only a little bit as he lets Do-yoon take it. ]

I'll --- I'll be good. You know that, don't you? I don't want to hurt you, you know that.

He probably needs chroma. Steak isn't gonna cut it.

[ It's always chroma with these things, Do-yoon has quickly learned. Sure, Gyu-hyuk had taken Hyesung's blood, but what made him dangerous was the fact that he'd taken his chroma. That's why he'd started to crystallize. He siphoned energy on top of blood. And for all that Do-yoon wants to trust him, the fact is that things could go very wrong if they aren't careful.

So they're being careful, but a little fear is understandable. That fear is almost painfully obvious in Gyu-hyuk. Do-yoon hates to see it in him, but until there's a cure, there's not much else he can do. He can try to make this nice for him, keep him calm until that time comes. And maybe keep Hyesung out of their room? Well, later. Right now, he ties up Gyu-hyuk's other arm to the post on their bed, gentle but firm. ]

I know, Gyu-hyuk. I know you'd never hurt anyone. It's not you doing this.
